Will the ID signal get better with the 3 and Vodafone merger

    Best answer by Anika A

    Hi @Troy morrison

Three will be merging with Vodafone.

That’s all we can update on currently, so we’d recommend to keep an eye out on our website and community pages for any updates on the merger.

    Hi @Laila Lustika

Thank you for your post, and I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been having ongoing issues with your signal and incoming calls. I understand how frustrating this must be.

To help refresh your connection to the network, please follow the steps below depending on your phone type.

    If you’re using an iPhone:

    Go to Settings

    Tap Phone

    Tap My Number

Delete the old number (if showing)

Enter your correct mobile number using the keypad

    Tap Save

    Then:

    Go back to Settings

    Tap Messages

    Turn iMessage OFF

    Go to General

    Tap Reset

    Tap Reset Network Settings
(This will remove saved WiFi passwords but won’t delete personal data.)

    Once the phone restarts:

    Go to Settings

    Tap Messages

    Turn iMessage ON

This should allow the phone to recognise and verify the SIM properly.

If you’re using an Android device:

    Open Settings

    Tap General Management

    Tap Reset

    Tap Reset Network Settings

After completing this, please restart your phone.

Once done, please test your signal and incoming calls again.

If the issue continues, please send us your full postcode so we can check coverage in your area with iD Mobile and investigate further for you.
