My partner and I both have phones but whenever I make or receive a call on my mobile it only stays connected for less than 3mins calls are forever ending yet my partner's is okay we both have to use WiFi calling with airplane mode on as even though your coverage checker states good signal we don't get one here. I have already had a SIM swap and that has changed anything I am extremely frustrated as I have this for another year yet before I can upgrade or change networks

Try rebooting your router. It will be a Firewall/NAT issue.

This did not work as I said my partner has the same phone and can make calls through WiFi calling no problem

Is your partner using the iD Mobile network too?

Your phone should also work. Try replacing the SIM card.

There are no user-configurable options for WiFi calling and dropped calls are almost always due to a NAT/firewall issue. Perhaps try your SIM in a different device.

Hi @skippyajb Thank you for taking the time to explain what’s been happening. I completely understand how frustrating this must be. The next step I’d recommend is a network settings reset on your device. This doesn’t delete any personal data, but it does refresh how your phone connects to the mobile network and can often resolve ongoing call drop issues like the ones you’re experiencing.

For iPhone:

"Go to Settings.
Tap Phone.
Tap My Number.
Use the delete button to remove the old number.
Use the keypad to enter the new number.
Tap Save.
1. Go to Settings
2. Messages
3. Turn off iMessage.
4. Go to General
5. Reset
6. Reset Network Settings.
7. Once the iPhone is open.
8. Go to Settings
9. Messages Turn ON iMessage.
10.This will recognize the new sim and have it verified."

For Android:

Open Settings and then tap General management. Tap Reset, and then tap Reset network settings.
