Hi @Algarrobo1922,

Thanks for reaching out, I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been without calls for a few days, that’s definitely frustrating. It’s good to hear your data and WhatsApp are still working, as that helps narrow things down.

If you’re unable to make or receive calls but everything else is working, it’s often related to network settings or call features rather than the SIM itself. Here are some steps you can try depending on your device:

For Android devices:

  • Check Airplane Mode – Make sure it’s turned off, or try turning it on for 30 seconds and then off again.
  • Network Selection – Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators and select your network manually.
  • Preferred Network Type – Ensure this is set to allow calls (e.g. 4G/3G/2G auto, not data-only).
  • Call Barring / Call Forwarding – Check in your Phone app settings that these aren’t turned on.
  • Reset Network Settings – Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings (this won’t delete personal data, but will reset WiFi/mobile settings).

For iPhone:

  • Toggle Airplane Mode – Turn it on for 30 seconds, then off again.
  • Carrier Settings Update – Go to Settings > General > About and check for any updates.
  • Check Call Settings – Head to Settings > Phone and make sure Call Forwarding and Silence Unknown Callers aren’t affecting incoming calls.
  • Network Selection – Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection and try selecting the network manually.
  • Reset Network Settings – Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Network Settings.

A couple of extra things to try on any device:

  • Test your SIM in another phone (if you can) to see if the issue follows the SIM or stays with the handset.
  • Try another SIM in your phone to rule out a device fault.
  • Make sure your account is active and there are no restrictions on calls.

If you’ve tried all of the above and it’s still not working, it could be something account- or network-related on our side. In that case, please let us know so that we can take a deeper look into this for you.

Regards,

I've tried all this but it's no working.  Could it be a split port issue? Can someone look into this urgently

Hi @Algarrobo1922,

Thanks for sharing, if it was a split port, nothing would work.

What I can suggest is getting in touch with our customer service team via live chat. You can reach them by clicking here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

They will be able to assist you with this.

Hi @Algarrobo1922.

Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear you didn’t get the help you needed via the chatbot.

We don’t currently offer a phone support line, but our team is available via Live Chat and can connect you to an agent who can help in real time: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

If you let us know what you were trying to do or what you didn’t understand, we can also try to guide you further here and make things clearer for you.

Thanks,
