Question

CAPPED RECORDING CALLING MOBILES

Hi, I have ID mobile account with 70gb data, unlimited calls and texts.  Have had this for years.  I needed to call for a plumber and googled some options and on calling the listed mobile numbers I was not able to call them as there was voice recording saying I had reached my cap limit and was not able to make any further calls until I had amended my limit.  My cap is 0 and always has been.  I was however able to call a land line and my sons and husbands mobiles with no issue but just have these odd  issues…. any ideas?  Its very frustrating that I cannot call directory listed mobile numbers when needed…. Any insight… thanks in advance

I’m also experiencing the same thing but with 50 go data which I come no where near finishing by the end of the month. It’s very frustrating.

Hi @Maple2025,

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a similar issue, especially when you still have plenty of data remaining in your allowance.

Could you please explain a little more about the data issue you’re experiencing? For example, are you unable to use mobile data at all, is it particularly slow, or are certain websites/apps not working?

Please don’t provide any personal or account information here, as the Community is a public platform.

Hi @Maple2025  and @FlowerPower

Please check the phone number you are trying to connect to as it may be an ‘Out of Plan’ non-standard ‘07’ number and therefore you will incur a charge to call them. Not all ‘07’ numbers are standard mobile phone numbers. Even though they appear to be standard numbers they can actually be used by third parties that forward calls to another destination or operate as personal/pager numbers or as a premium rate number.

If you bill cap is set to £0 then you will not be able to connect due to the extra charges.

Hope this helps x
