Data Usage on my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G is not working when out and about and I get 'Emergency calls only mentioned at te top of the screen... What could this be?

Hi, my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G is no longer connection to my data usage (bills are being paid regularly by direct debit!).  It only happens when I am out and about wich is exactly when I need my own data for WiFi.’

Also, I on and off get the sign ‘Emergency calls only’ at the top of the screen and when this happens and I try to make a call, a text appears saying: your phone isn’t connected to any network…

Can anyone understands why this is happening please?

Can you please check your coverage here to see if there are any current outages in your area - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage 

Some materials and structures can also affect signal strength.

Can you try switching to 4G only to see if that helps? Do you have Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE enabled?
