Delay on voice during calls after a few minutes.

Hello, Since moving to ID mobile I have an issue with voice calls.

The call starts well, but a few minutes in we start to talk over each other. There seems to be a delay in the other person hearing me.

I hang up and ring them back and it’s fine for a while but the ]n goes back to delayed.

Anyone else experiencing this or can help solve the issue?

Not location specific.

iphone 16e.

The issue with voice delay when contacting any call centre has been happening for me for a very long time.
It has been reported by people using different handset types and different call centres.
It is quite frustrating, I have to use a different phone service if I want to have a conversation with a call centre. Sadly the only solution is to change to an alternative mobile provider that doesn’t use the Three Network to fix this issue.  :-(

I have the same and have had for ages. I’m assuming there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it at the user level otherwise there would be a fix that is shared with your users. I’m also assuming it only affects certain businesses that use particular phone systems as normal consumer to consumer calls are fine.

This network is the WORST network I have ever been on. I have complained and escalated but nothing ever happens. I didn’t have service for half a day, I escalated my complaint and when their investigations team finally came back to me they said there were no network issues. So answer me this, why did I have no network for half a day?!?? I am going to lunch an official complaint with the communication ombudsman because they are locking customers into contracts knowing full well they have serious network issues so they can’t honour those contracts

    Hi @Paddyandpearl,

We’re sorry that you were left without service for half a day and that the response to your previous complaint did not explain what happened. We also apologise that you feel your concerns have not been properly addressed.

We understand why this has seriously affected your confidence in the service, particularly after you were told that no network issue had been identified. A network check may not always show a wider outage if the issue was temporary, localised, related to a specific mast or caused by an account or device connection problem. However, that does not change the fact that you were unable to use your service, and this should be investigated properly.

We can review the previous complaint, check the relevant network information and ensure your concerns are recorded accurately.
