emergency calls only

If ID has a problem with the network how do you inform customers? Because my phone has been on emergency calls only and I have tried every suggestion to no avail.

It appears I'm paying for a service I am not receiving.

    Hi @Jose3651

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear that your phone has been showing Emergency Calls Only. I completely understand how frustrating this must be, particularly when you've already tried the troubleshooting provided and are still paying for a service you can't use.

Please try the following additional checks:

    • Restart your handset and allow a few minutes for it to reconnect to the network.
    • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then switch it off.
    • Set your handset to 4G/LTE only, as this can provide a more stable connection than 5G in some locations.
    • Make sure your handset software is fully up to date.
    • If you're using a physical SIM, switch the handset off, remove and reinsert the SIM securely, then restart the phone.
    • If possible, test your SIM in another compatible, unlocked handset to establish whether the issue follows the SIM or is specific to your handset.
    • Try your service in another nearby location to check whether the issue is specific to the current area.

If your handset continues to show Emergency Calls Only after completing these checks, please contact us via Live Chat. Our team can complete the necessary security checks, check the network coverage and account status, and investigate the issue further.

We apologise again for the disruption and appreciate your patience while we work to get your service restored.
