Have data yet cant use apps

Stuff like google maps and the id app itself won’t load when on data - only on WiFi. I have data allowance left. Help

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble using your mobile data.

 

If apps like Google Maps and the iD Mobile app only work on Wi-Fi, even though you still have data remaining, we'd recommend trying the following:

  • Restart your phone.
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then turn it off.
  • Make sure Mobile Data is enabled.
  • Check that Data Saver or Low Data Mode isn't turned on.
  • Perform a network settings reset.
  • Ensure your phone's software is fully up to date.
  • If possible, try your SIM in another unlocked handset to see if the issue follows the SIM or the device.
