I can’t receive messages anymore

Hello there

it looks like I can’t receive any message outside or WhatsApp. I need some access codes to connect on some accounts (TFL, childcare services) but I never get the messages.

I have tried to switch off and on my phone, and the network but nothing seems to work properly.

This is a bit urgent as I need to be able to connect on these accounts as soon as possible.

Could you please confirm the make and model of the handset you are using? Also, are all your text messages not working, or is it only the access codes that are affected?

Hello there.

Thank you for reaching out.

First of all, I wanted to mention a typo I’ve made: I can’t receive any message outside of* WhatsApp.

I have an iPhone XR and I can only confirm it’s only an issue with the access codes (I don’t usually get “normal” message outside of WhatsApp).

When you go into phone settings, is your phone number showing correctly?

Hello,

Yes all seems normal on my phone.

My issue was escalated to your technical department last Thursday, but I still haven’t received any update. I spoke to someone on Friday who said they tried to send me an SMS — however, that’s exactly the issue I’ve been reporting. I am unable to receive or send any SMS messages, including OTPs, which is now preventing me from making essential monthly payments.

This problem has been ongoing for far too long, and the lack of communication or resolution is unacceptable. I need this issue investigated and resolved immediately, or at the very least, a clear update on what is being done to fix it.

This has been the most disappointing service experience I’ve ever had, and I expect prompt action to restore my messaging service without further delay.
