I cannot log into app, as email linked tonold number

I have been sent my new phone by ID mobile, and when it arrived it had a temporary number.

I tried to set up the app with the temporary number but only got part way through.

Now my old number has ported across, my email is linked to the temporary number so the app will not let me register my phone with it.

 

How can this be sorted?

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m sorry for the confusion this has caused I understand how frustrating this must be after your number has now ported.

 

When you receive a new handset from iD Mobile with a temporary number, the system should automatically update your account once your PAC transfer (port-in) is completed, so your old number replaces the temporary one on your profile and app access.

 

However, in some cases the app can take a little time to refresh or may still be linked to the temporary number.

 

🔄 What you should try next

Please try the following:

  • 🌐 Log in via a browser (recommended)
  • Open a private/incognito window
  • Go to the iD Mobile website and log in to your account
  • Try signing in using:
  • Your new (ported) number, and if that doesn’t work
  • Your original account email / temporary number login
