i cannot recive calls or texts

I cannot revive calls or texts since I have joined you guys, I had done a number transfer from Vodafone and there are people trying to call me and says number is not valid or does not connect I need this sorting as people can only contact me via WhatsApp, I have done all methods via settings on your other topics and restarted phone etc but this needs looking to internally as my phone number may have not been ported correctly please help me sort this out as I am not happy with id at moment and if it persists than I would like to leave the network and go back to vodafone

We’re really sorry to hear this has been happening since joining us, especially when people haven’t been able to contact you properly.

 

What you’re describing can sometimes happen after a number transfer/port from another network, and it’s usually resolved by refreshing the network connection and updating the number on the device.

 

Please try the following steps depending on your phone type:

 

For iPhone:

 

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Phone
  • Tap My Number
  • Use the delete button to remove the old number
  • Use the keypad to enter the new number
  • Tap Save

Then please complete the following:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Messages
  3. Turn OFF iMessage
  4. Go to General
  5. Tap Reset
  6. Tap Reset Network Settings
  7. Once the iPhone has restarted, go back to Settings
  8. Tap Messages
  9. Turn iMessage back ON

This should help your iPhone recognise the new SIM correctly and verify the transferred number on the network.

 

For Android:

  • Settings > General Management/System > Reset > Reset Network Settings

 

If the issue still continues after trying these steps, it may need further investigation from our side to check the number port fully completed correctly. In that case, please contact our Live Chat or Customer Services team so they can look into the port status internally for you.

Hi Gemma I have done a these steps numerous times? Spoke to customer service and live chat numerous times and they keep saying the sma thing I need somebody to fast track this and help me as I need my number for people to call me

I need this split port sorting as a lot of people saying they cannot get in contact with me and I use this number for reviving calls mainly
