I get Bars but no 4/5g in lots of fully covered areas

I just switched from Lebera to Id 3-4 weeks ago and I have been having non stop issues ever since. I got an eSim to begin with and it wouldn't connect to the network even when but I would have full bars. I know it was covered as my brother is also with Id and he has no problem getting 4g (Most of these issues occurred around the AB postcode areas). I then went through the chatbot at least five times and nothing suggested helped so I got a replacement physical sim. The physical sim works better, but I'm still not satisfied. I get data now if I'm in a 5g covered area but if I'm in a 4g covered area, it very rarely connects, even when my brother is right next to me getting full bars 4g with id. I went through the chatbot again but nothing helped again so im not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

If you’ve tried eSIM and a physical SIM and still have issues but someone else next to you does not, then maybe it’s your handset at fault.

Yeah it is an issue with my handset. I tried my brothers Id sim and it was doing the same and i also tried my other brothers lebera sim and it was doing the same. I will be able to return it and get a replacement easily. Thanks again.

Hi @SaumJacob ,

Thanks for letting us know, and I’m glad you’ve identified the issue. It sounds like getting a replacement handset is the best way forward. Good luck with your new phone, and I hope it resolves the connectivity problems completely!

Kind regards, and Happy New Year
