I purchased an add-on for Turkey but it is not working.

We’re sorry to hear that your Turkey add-on is not currently working.

 

Please ensure the following settings are enabled, as these are required for roaming services to work correctly:

Set your Bill Cap to £0

  • You can do this on the iD Mobile app:
  • Log into the iD Mobile app
  • Go to “My Services”
  • Select “Bill Cap”
  • Set the Bill Cap to £0

Ensure Roaming is enabled on your iD Mobile account
On the iD Mobile app:

  • Go to “My Services”
  • Select “Roaming”
  • Ensure roaming is switched ON

Ensure Data Roaming is enabled on the handset

For iPhone:

  • Settings
  • Mobile Data
  • Mobile Data Options
  • Turn Data Roaming ON

For Android:

  • Settings
  • Connections / Mobile Networks
  • Turn Data Roaming ON
  • Manually connect to a supported partner network in Turkey

Please manually connect to either:

  • AVEA
  • Turkcell

To manually select a network:

iPhone:

  • Settings
  • Mobile Data
  • Network Selection
  • Turn Automatic OFF
  • Select AVEA or Turkcell

Android:

  • Settings
  • Connections
  • Mobile Networks
  • Network Operators
  • Turn Select Automatically OFF
  • Select AVEA or Turkcell

Please also:

  • Restart the handset after making these changes
  • Turn Airplane Mode ON for 60 seconds, then OFF again
