My ID mobile hotspot does not work.. the phone internet is fine

ID mobile says that there is no limit on hotspot data usage to other devices

Hi @Andy Ryder,

I’m sorry to hear your hotspot has suddenly stopped working, especially when mobile data is still working normally on the phone itself.

Hotspotting is supported on iD Mobile plans and there isn’t a separate hotspot allowance or activation required. Please try the following:

Switch the hotspot off and restart your phone.
Once restarted, make sure Mobile Data is switched on and then enable the hotspot again.
Restart the device you’re trying to connect and forget the hotspot network before reconnecting.
Change the hotspot name and password, then try connecting again.
Perform a network settings reset on your phone.
If you’re using Android, check that your APN is set to iD with the APN shown as id.
