Hi,

every few days, I find my phone unable to receive phone calls and sometimes even make them.

it is usually solved by turning the phone off and on again but it is super annoying as it happens so often

Hi @cosnick365,

We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your coverage.

We appreciate how frustrating it can be when the service you're receiving doesn't match what you'd expect, particularly if the coverage checker is showing strong coverage in the areas where you're having problems.

As a first step, we'd recommend checking the coverage checker again to see if there are any reported issues or maintenance affecting the locations concerned: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/coverage-and-networks/network-coverage-checker

If the issue persists, please contact our Live Chat team so they can investigate further and check whether there are any network-related issues affecting your service: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

They'll be able to review your account and discuss any available options based on the outcome of their investigation.

Regards,

Still up and down (and sometimes I can’t even make/receive phone calls or even whatsup calls.  I don’t see any issues or maintenance in the location I am in…

If it doesn’t get better I will try the live chat

Hi @cosnick365,

Thanks for letting us know, what we can suggest is testing out a replacement SIM. Our live chat team would be happy to assist you in getting that done.

also unable to receive sms from abroad (that is since I switched to my old number)

Hi @cosnick365,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, please ensure that the number displayed in the app is starting with +44 instead of 0.

Thanks,

Hi @cosnick365,

Thanks for your response.

Could you please confirm whether you've had the opportunity to test a replacement SIM card, as previously recommended? This will help us determine whether the issue is related to the SIM itself or if further investigation may be required.

Regards,

When I joined id mobile I had an eSIM and I switched to a SIM card and didn’t improve things

Hi @cosnick365,

We're sorry to hear that switching from an eSIM to a physical SIM hasn't resolved the issue.

As you've already tried both types of SIM, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service team via Live Chat. They'll be able to raise a technical request with our network team so they can investigate the issue further.

We hope this gets resolved for you as quickly as possible.

Regards,
