Iphone unable to make/receive calls, works when phones restarted then stops again

Hello. Since I moved to ID mobile in March, I sporadically am unable to make or receive phone calls. It doesn’t ring on their end if calling to me, and mine never rings out it’s just blank. I then turn my phone on and off and it works. I’m missing important calls from my daughters nursery so need this fixed asap. I have an iPhone 17 pro. Thanks!

    Hi @HastedAlice,

I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with making calls. Please try the steps below and let me know if this makes any changes.

    For iPhone:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Phone
    • Tap My Number
    • Delete the old number
    • Enter the new number
    • Tap Save

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap Messages
    3. Turn iMessage OFF
    4. Go to Settings > General
    5. Tap Reset
    6. Choose Reset Network Settings
    7. Once your iPhone restarts, go back to Settings
    8. Tap Messages
    9. Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should now recognise the new SIM and verify your number.

    Regards,

Hi Gemma, thanks for responding. I actually transferred my number over so the correct number is under phone and when I deleted that out and just re-typed the same number it wouldn’t let me save as nothing had changed. Thanks!

    Hi @HastedAlice,

Thanks for coming back to us.

Could you try entering your transferred number in the format +44 followed by your mobile number without the leading 0 (for example, +447123456789)?

Once the number has been saved, we'd also recommend performing a network settings reset.

    For iPhone:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap General
    3. Select Transfer or Reset iPhone
    4. Tap Reset
    5. Choose Reset Network Settings

    For Android:
(steps may vary slightly depending on your device)

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap General Management or System
    3. Select Reset
    4. Tap Reset Network Settings
    5. Confirm the reset

After your phone restarts, check whether everything is loading correctly.

    Regards,
