Hey there @Pete2000, thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately, as of right now, there’s no current information I can give you on expanding our roaming into other countries. We offer inclusive roaming in 50+ EU countries, and have began to roll out add-ons for specific countries outside of those and outside the EU, which is a new offer we’ve rolled out in the past couple of months.

We’re always looking for ways to improve, so there’s always potential for change of course, but right now, I cannot confirm or guarantee that’d It’d be the case.

Thank you,

Tyler

Probably best to buy a local SIM card or google travel SIM’s - they are a lot cheaper. They may add more location to their go roam beyond add on in the future but who knows.

I have just realised that if I purchase a local SIM card in Egypt it will give me a local Egyptian phone number and therefore all the one time passwords and SMS text messages that I get from various banks all the time to confirm financial transactions et cetera just won’t work And obviously anybody trying to call me from the UK will not be able to ring my normal number, because whilst I’m in Egypt, my phone would be associated with a completely different Egyptian number. So what I was really wondering was whether or not ID Mobile was ever going to expand its coverage to include Egypt in the future. I mean for the normal rates … not that the £2.40 per minute rates currently in place. I hope that makes some sort of sense! Thanks for any Input to this query

Yeah that’s kind of what I thought, but thanks for giving me a full confirmation on that anyway. It would be great if Egypt could be included one day as that is beginning to be a big tourist destination… but other than that, I find the ID Mobile service really good value.
