Issue today with service for the last 2 days

is there an issue today with service. speedtest is giving me a download speed of 3.14. if i move to the town center, it must be on a different mast because the download speed is 239Mbps DL5 area. We usually get over 100Mbps at home

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing slow speeds at home, I understand how frustrating that must be especially when you normally get much faster service.

Please try these quick checks:

• Restart your phone
• Toggle Airplane Mode ON/OFF
• Go to Settings → Network Selection → Automatic
• Try manually switching between 4G and 5G (if available)
• Test the SIM in another device if possible

 

Since you’re getting much faster speeds in the town centre, this usually indicates a localised coverage or congestion issue in your home area rather than a full network fault.

Speeds can vary depending on:
• Distance from the mast
• Network congestion at peak times
• Indoor signal strength

Restart your phone - done many times
• Toggle Airplane Mode ON/OFF - done
• Go to Settings → Network Selection → Automatic - yes
• Try manually switching between 4G and 5G (if available) - done
• Test the SIM in another device if possible - tested in three different devices. 

 

It's not just one sim that has poor or no signal. It's all 3 of our ID mobile sims getting no or very poor service. The speed increased to 20Mbps this morning. But has again dropped down to 2Mbps at most. We've been with ID for over 3 years now, it's not like they're new sim cards

After just over 48 hours it's back at 200Mbps. Hopefully it's fixed
