I live in Winchester, Hampshire and am having poor signal at home and literally nothing in the town centre- which is a pain. Is there an issue with a mast?

    Hi @Jacquster013,

Sorry to hear you’re having such poor signal, I completely understand how frustrating that may be.

From what you’ve described, it could be related to a local mast or coverage issue.

First, let’s try a few quick checks:

These can often help rule out device-related issues:

    • Restart your phone
    • Turn Airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off
    • Try manually switching to 4G/LTE instead of 5G (this is a big one in your area)
    • Make sure mobile data is turned on
    • Try your SIM in another phone (if possible)

    Why this might be happening

Signal issues like this are often caused by:

    • Mast faults or maintenance in the area
    • Network congestion in busy places like town centres
    • Buildings or indoor coverage affecting signal strength

There have also been cases where mast issues take time to resolve, as repairs or upgrades can affect service temporarily.

So I can check this properly for you, could you please confirm your full postcode?

That’ll let me look into whether there’s a known fault or mast issue affecting your exact location.

The issue has been ongoing since October

I’ve done everything else and it’s not helping

    Hi @Jacquster013,

Thanks for your response and I am so sorry to hear that you have been struggling for so long, may I ask that you provide your full postcode.

This will allow me to check the coverage in your area to see if there is an issue with the mast.

    Regards,
