I’m having these issues as well, been about a week. Not just me, my wife who’s also on ID mobile is having the same issues. Can’t do anything using Mobile Data only as anything I try to do comes back with No Network connection or No internet connection. I’m in the Bradford area. Been about a months since I went Sim Only.

Yes its very common with this provider.  They simply do not have enough bandwidth to have everyone on the network connect to the same towers at once.  The towers they use also prefer connections from Three before your own, and you share that tiny bit of space at the bottom with Smarty also.

Its atrocious.  You can be connected - 4G, 5G, full bars, and nothing works.  Someone standing next to you on iD can have it working fine - we joke in our area, where so far 15 of us have connected over the poor signal - that “someone on Three must’ve entered the area” when one of ours stops working and everyone elses is fine - until someone else’s stops and then yours starts again.

They do amazing deals but don’t have the bandwith to carry the connections.  Call up and cancel your plan and get your money back.

I’ll add on to this, I’ve been with iD since January and for the most part, the first 2-3 months were fine.  Dodgy signal indoors sometimes, but that is to be expected sometimes.  But the last 2 months, you are lucky to get a single page to load on data during day time hours.  It will start working again full around 8pm at night - and then works fine until the morning.  Weekend?  No chance.  Saturday is completely blocked, you wont get on at any time of the day, and Sunday it gets better during the evening.

They obviously do not have the bandwidth to cover all of the people switching to their network.

    Hi @Nmurph , @MadeWithGlucose  and @Fifoo

I am sorry to hear of the trouble you have had with your coverage.

Can you please check your coverage here to see if there are any current outages in your area - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Some building materials and structures can also affect signal strength.

Can you try switching to 4G to see if that helps? Do you have Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE enabled?

A reboot of your handset would also refresh your connection to the local mast and improve service.

Please let us know how your get on.

I’ve tried all of this, it’s even outdoors in a full 5G area. The coverage tracker always says there’s no issues. Today, miraculously I haven’t had any problems but I’ll be monitoring it for when it happens again.
