mobile data not working in Italy

Please fix this issue, this is unacceptable.

Please do not provide generic response with a step by step on how to check if it’s my mobile device. It’s not. All I’m interested in is how long is it anticipated to take to fix the issue and how much you are going to refund me for the inconvenience.

Thanks for getting in touch, and we’re sorry to hear your mobile data isn’t working in Italy.

 

If you’re still in Italy, there was a roaming outage reported yesterday which may have impacted service, so we apologise for the disruption caused.

 

In the meantime, please try manually connecting to one of iD Mobile’s partner networks to see if this restores service:

 

  • Open Settings
  • Go to Mobile Network / Connections
  • Tap Network Operators / Network Selection
  • Turn Automatic selection OFF
  • Wait for the networks to appear
  • Manually select:
    • 3 ITA
    • WINDTRE (Wind)

 

After connecting:

  • Make sure Data Roaming is switched ON
  • Restart your phone
  • Toggle Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then OFF
