Data isn’t working at all

Hi ​@Jean Burns,

 

Sorry to hear your data isn’t working. Let’s run through a few quick checks that usually get things back up and running.

 

Quick things to try:

  • Turn Airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then switch it back off
  • Restart your phone
  • Make sure mobile data is turned on in your settings
  • Check you still have data remaining in your allowance
  • If you have a bill cap set to £0, make sure you haven’t used all your included data (as this can stop further usage)

 

Network checks:

  • Try switching your phone to 4G/LTE manually in settings (instead of 5G/Auto)
  • Toggle data roaming off and back on (even if you’re in the UK, this can refresh the connection)
  • Try manually selecting your network

 

Other things to check:

  • Reset your network settings (this can fix configuration issues)
  • Remove and reinsert your SIM card (if applicable)
  • Check your APN settings are correct
