network down in nottingham for me

Yet again, I’ve got no network. Looked on the app and there is no menu item to report lack of service or a problem. Only an option to check the service in your area, which states there is no problem. Clearly there is. Phone turned off and on several times, and every other way to fix it failed

Used live chat and clueless is all I can say , sent me an eSIM and when questioned how that would help when there’s zero signal I got no response. .  Useless

    Hi @Maverick1969,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing further issues with your service.

We were aware of a network issue affecting some customers yesterday and today. This has now been resolved, so if you’re still unable to connect, please try performing a network settings reset on your handset.

    For iPhone:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings

    For Android:

Settings > General Management/System > Reset > Reset Network Settings or Reset Mobile Network Settings

Once completed, restart your handset and allow it a few minutes to reconnect to the network.

Please note that a network reset may remove saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth connections.

    Regards,

    Hi @Maverick1969.

Thank you for the update. I am sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you.

Can you please try using a replacement sim, sometimes an older sim can start affecting your connectivity and as you already tried all relevant troubleshooting, I think a replacement sim would be appropriate.

You can get one from your nearest Currys store or if you contact us directly via https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat we can have one arranged for you.

    Thanks,

    Marquerita
