Hi @Gary Richardson

We’re sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing with the coverage in your area.

Please use the following link to check the coverage in your area: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage or try to reinsert your SIM, or try your SIM in another phone. This will determine whether the issue is with the handset or with the SIM card itself.

You can also try doing a network reset by following these steps:

For Android:

Open Settings and then tap General management. Tap Reset, and then tap Reset network settings.

For iPhone:

1. Go to General, scroll down and click reset or transfer iPhone.
2. Reset
3. Reset Network Settings.
4. Once the iPhone is open.
5. Go to Settings
6. Messages Turn ON iMessage.
7.This will recognize the new sim and have it verified.

Thanks,

Anneline

Hi @Gary Richardson

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Kindly confirm if you are still experiencing the issue. If so, please try the above steps, as the coverage issue should now be resolved and services should be up and running. If the problem persists, please let us know so we can investigate further.

Thank you,

Hi @Gary Richardson.

Thank you for the update. If the issues persist when returning on the 10/08/2026. Please try the following to revive and restore your connectivity;

  • Restart your device to refresh your connection to the network.
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then turn it off again.
  • Check that your mobile data is switched on (if you're experiencing data issues).
  • Remove your SIM card, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth, reinsert it, and restart your device.
  • Check that your device software is fully up to date.
  • Reset your network settings to refresh your device’s connection to the network.

Thanks,

Marquerita
