Over the last week or so there is no coverage in areas where there used to be coverage on my area when will this be fixed. I've had two emergency situations and have been very lucky that others with me had phones to call relatives.

I'm considering moving from id as the whole point is to have mobile coverage

Hi @Jakers

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sincerely sorry to hear about the loss of coverage you've experienced over the last week. I completely understand how concerning this must be, particularly given the emergency situations you've experienced where you were unable to rely on your own phone.

We'd like to investigate this properly and check whether there are any reported outages, planned work or coverage issues affecting your area.

In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart your handset and allow a few minutes for it to reconnect to the network.
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then switch it off.
  • Set your handset to 4G/LTE only, as this can provide a more stable connection in some locations.
  • Make sure your handset software is fully up to date.
  • If you're using a physical SIM, switch your handset off, remove and reinsert the SIM, then restart the device.
  • If possible, test your SIM in another compatible, unlocked handset to establish whether the issue follows the SIM or is specific to your handset.
  • Test your service in different nearby locations to see whether the loss of coverage is specific to one area.

If you're still experiencing problems after the above checks, please contact us via Live Chat so we can complete the necessary security checks and investigate this further.

We sincerely apologise again, especially given the circumstances you've described, and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
