No internet in certain areas in Manchester

Hey guys.

I’ve been an ID customer for couple of months and it actually hasn’t been the best experience so far. Manchester city centre, Deansgaet Castlefield, East Didsbury near Tesco area... all of them have issues with internet even tho I have full 4g and 5g signal.

It actually makes me want to switch to another netwrok, or go back to Three as it seems like it worked much better even tho it’s the same network.

Anyone else experiences the same issues?

Hey there @m4sta, we’re very sorry to hear that. Can you confirm the full postcode(s) and also what phone you have please?

Thanks,

Tyler

Phone I'm using is Samsung s25+

Postcode checker show no issues in the affected areas but here you go... East Didsbury full 4g and 5g but Internet doesn't work, not even WhatsApp - M19 1RJ, Deansgate Castlefield - M3 4LG (this one works occasionally but is very very slow), Manchester Picc Gardens - M1 1AF (no Internet despite full signal but this one has been bad even when I was with Three so no change here).

Hey there @m4sta, for M19 1RJ and M3 4LG, we're working on the network in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing. We hope to be finished working on these improvements as soon as possible.

We'll add any further updates here.

However, for M1 1AF, I see no issues here. Are you connected to 4G here, as 5G signal would be weak here?

Thanks,

Tyler
