Before changing provider always insert your postcode into new provider’s NETWORK COVERAGE page; simples😄

Been  with ID mobile over a year its got worse .

If i do a network check it says i have excellent 4 G inside and out  not with 1bar signal i dont even get to use any data at home signals nonexistant for wifi. If you do a network check in store when buy anew phone you are going to get false info for my address.

Hi @Nails,

We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your coverage.

We appreciate how frustrating it can be when the service you're receiving doesn't match what you'd expect, particularly if the coverage checker is showing strong coverage in the areas where you're having problems.

As a first step, we'd recommend checking the coverage checker again to see if there are any reported issues or maintenance affecting the locations concerned: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/coverage-and-networks/network-coverage-checker

If the issue persists, please contact our Live Chat team so they can investigate further and check whether there are any network-related issues affecting your service: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

They'll be able to review your account and discuss any available options based on the outcome of their investigation.

Regards,

Since posting i have done a little more digging. There is nothing wrong with my phone it is quite simply iD / 3 mobile coverage in the village where i live is poor to nonexsistant.      I have just looked at the Mastdata.com site. When i check for the 3 network in and around my village suprise nothing. The only provider on the Mastdata map is O2 with a bit of EE. I have to travel down the road a mile to get any 3/ ID mobile signal.         Good job i have i have Quickline full fibre broadband other wise i wouldnt even be able to post on here.

ID mobile need to change thier network checker for the DN14 0PD area from excellent indoors and out to poor or nonexsistant anywhere in the area

Non of these answers solve anything. You dont have a box to tick for that.     I hate these chat box things you have to contiually have to repeat what you say the people who i have comunicated with just run through the same thing .   Their is nothing wrong with my phone( Galaxy S24). It is the network signal in the village (DN14 0PD). I even have a screen shot of a message from ID mobile the other day regarding the signal NO NETWORK. I continually check my phone inside and outside when there is a signal its 1 bar never any more . The clever answer i got from one of your contributers about i should have checked in store when i changed provider not helpful at all. Do a network check from any where and the result for my postcode is id/3 mobile coverage 4g excellent indoors and out. One bar is excellent !!!!!!. Dont think so.  The only saving grace is i have Quickline full fibre broadband and can do wifi calling . My plan is 100 mg of data this rolls over 1 week then resets i currently have i think 199.3 mg of data i cant use any at home with no network or just 1 bar .So until someone fixes that it will just stay the same . All this asking for praise and thumbs up for a good answer there should be a button for no..
