For the last 8 days since joining iD my phone is constantly going to “no service” and if I do get signal it’s only one bar. What do I do? I’m not happy at all with the constant no service

Hi @nessa744 ,

I completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially with such limited signal.

To help resolve this, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

-Restart your phone and ensure the iD SIM is correctly inserted.

-Check your network settings: make sure your phone is set to use 4G/3G/2G automatically.

-Test the SIM in another compatible phone (if possible) to see if the issue is device-related.

-Check coverage in your area: some locations may have weaker 4G signal.

No my issues isn’t with 3g/4g/5g as I can’t even get phone service to begin with! I can’t call or receive calls or even use my data if I’m out and about most of the time as the signal bars are showing “no service”

Hi @nessa744 ,

I completely understand how frustrating it must be to have no service at all, even for basic calls and data.

In most cases, a new SIM card can help resolve a “no service” issue. I recommend trying a replacement SIM in your phone to see if that restores connectivity.

If you need another SIM right now, you don’t have to wait for one in the post — you can get a replacement immediately from any Currys store that stocks iD Mobile. They can provide a free replacement SIM and help you get it activated on the spot.

Hi, I have the same issue. Number ported on 21/01/26 and not able to make call or text. What can I do with this? New sim?

Hi @sonupc ,

Have you checked with your provider to see if there was any issue?
Do you have the correct SIM card in your phone?

I received my new phone on 6 Feb no mobile data or phone signal. Tried network reset loads of times, had new esim and physical sim. Just going round in circles with live chat. Been to Currys who did their best. To say I’m really fed up is an understatement. Network coverage states excellent in my area. I still don’t know if there is some setting that needs tweaking? I really don’t want to be stuck with a 2 year contract on a phone that doesn’t work. iPhone 17.

Hi @Cappuchino Can you please try your sim in another device and see if it’s able to connect to the network.
