NO SIGNAL AT ALL.

When I'm at home I have zero signal! When I ring anyone there breaking up or there's a delay that makes it near impossible to talk! 

Talking over eachother. Miss hearing.

Cutting out on eachother.

It even says WiFi calling yet the signal still stays the same.

 

It's a joke what am I paying for?

Sorry to hear you’re having such a poor experience at home, I can appreciate how frustrating that must be when calls are cutting in and out like that.

 

First things first, it’s worth checking your coverage in your area using your postcode here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/coverage

 

If coverage looks good, try the following steps:

For both iPhone & Android:

  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then off again
  • Restart your phone
  • Make sure WiFi Calling is turned ON (this should help improve calls indoors when signal is weak)
  • Toggle mobile data off and on again
  • If possible, try manually selecting the network instead of automatic

 

For iPhone:

  • Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection and toggle automatic off/on
  • Check for any carrier settings updates in Settings > General > About

 

For Android:

  • Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks
  • Try switching network mode between 4G/3G/2G (or “auto”) to refresh connection
