No signal when dialing out at home !!

For weeks my signals been poor in my area sa12-sa13 only ever 2 bars however today it’s showing 1 bar and when I go to call out it drops to 0 and I can’t phone anyone. 
checked online says good coverage - I’ve rest phone etc still not dialing out
