As Egypt isn’t included within your standard Inclusive Roaming allowance, your usual UK minutes, texts and data won’t apply while you’re there.

If you need to send texts or make or receive calls while in Egypt, please make sure that roaming is enabled on your account and that your Bill Cap is set high enough to allow chargeable roaming usage. If your Bill Cap is set to £0, these services will be blocked.

Please be aware that calls and texts will be charged at the applicable roaming rates and these costs can become quite expensive. Depending on how much you intend to use your phone while you’re away, we’d recommend considering a local SIM as this may be a more cost-effective option.
