Ongoing Network Dropouts – Support Needed / Anyone Else?

Hi all,

I’ve been with ID Mobile for a couple of years but I've been having intermittent network problems for months now, and I’m hoping both iD support and other customers can advise.

The issue is that the signal drops out completely, sometimes several times a day, and the only way to restore service is by switching airplane mode on and off.

To rule out possible causes, I’ve already tried:

* A brand new SIM card

* A full factory reset

* Using a completely different handset

I've also been travelling around multiple areas across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The problem has been consistent in all those locations.

The only time I haven’t experienced it is when roaming in the Republic of Ireland, which makes me think it’s a network-related issue rather than my devices.

Support team – could you confirm if this is a known problem on the iD/Three network? Is there anything else I should try, or can this be escalated for investigation?

Other users – are you noticing the same thing, or is this just me?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The issue turned out to be a faulty SIM card. It was frustrating, as the solution was only offered by a UK-based advisor after I began the process to terminate my contract.

I’m having this exact same issue right now and it’s so frustrating. What’s going on?

I'm having issues (Birmingham). ID said it was my postcode area, Three working on it, ongoing since 7 April. Doesn't matter where I go though. Same problem. No ability to make calls, network dropping out for data. They ordered me a new Sim, it didn't arrive on time. An ESim was provided. Same problem. New Sim arrived, had to live chat to get it activated, now no connection at all and have had to buy an esim from airalo. They raised a complaint and a technical case but I've now got no means to call them or them to call me. Was told yesterday they would email me. I've totally lost confidence with ID at this point.

Been having the same issue over the past few months. Signal drops no 4G/5G and phone goes to emergency calls only. This is a daily issue...I am currently on an esim so can't be a faulty SIM card

I have the same problem with the signal! Travel a lot trough  the UK and Wales and phone signal drops constantly, Internet Data very bad, I can see 4G on my signal but no internet connection. And I have done everything I could

I have used a sim card, after an esim, I reset the network settings, used only 4G option from my phone. Nothing is working! What else can I do, please because is very frustrating

    Hi @J1da, @Basiationes and @VeryPoor signal,

At the moment, we’re aware of the problem and our teams are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. However, we’re not yet able to confirm how long the resolution will take or whether the issue is affecting all networks or only iD Mobile customers.
