phone calls keep cutting out so people can’t hear me

Hi I have an iPhone 17e and since I changed my network provider to IDmobile my phone service has been really poor. My phone constantly cuts out when I am on the phone with people so they can’t hear me properly. I have tried resetting my network settings and switching WiFi calling on and off but it doesn’t help. I have full WiFi signal but I never have more than 2 bars of phone service, even when the service in my area says it is full. I really regret leaving my old service provider. How do I fix this?

    Thanks for getting in touch and we’re sorry to hear about the poor call quality you’ve been experiencing since joining iD Mobile.

     

    As you’ve already tried resetting network settings and toggling WiFi Calling, here are a few additional steps that may help:

    • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then off again to force a fresh network connection
    • Manually select the network:
      • Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection
      • Turn off Automatic and select iD Mobile / Three
    • Ensure your device is fully updated with the latest iOS version
    • Try testing WiFi Calling on a different WiFi connection (if available) to rule out router-related issues
    • Check if 5G Auto / 5G On / 4G switching improves stability in Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options

     

    Even if your phone shows full WiFi, call quality issues can sometimes be caused by how the device is switching between WiFi Calling and mobile network coverage, especially if signal strength is fluctuating indoors or in your area.
