phone not sending or receiving calls


When can I expect my id mobile phone to start being able to make and receive calls

Thank you for getting in touch. 

 

A network wide issue was identified and we can advise 3UK have confirmed that services are now fully back to normal, apart from some localised issues related to Storm Éowyn.

All updates are available here

 

We apologise for an inconvenience caused by the issue and want to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we got this repaired. 

If you are still experiencing issues, can you please try rebooting your handset and let us know how you get on?

can you update. I am unable to receive phone calls and text messages. Switch date was 24/03/25 I was keeping my old number which is shown correctly

NO Still can’t receive phone calls or text messages thinking of leaving ID mobile as live chat not helpful and no response from technician so far very disappointed

What phone do you have?
Some phones get confused if a physical SIM is installed when an ESIM is being used and the settings are not set correctly to reflect this. Is this the case?

This will help in trying to determine the problem.

I have an Iphone 14 with eSim still not receiving texts or phone calls if not sorted today will be cancelling my order

showing error at activation have tried all the troubleshooting but still not working and can’t update apple account as need verification code sent via texts which i can’t receive

Unfortunately, it seems that you can’t get a verification code sent via email but only as a text to a trusted device (which seems like an oversight by Apple to me). 


Is there a physical SIM in the handset? If so, then try removing it and restarting the phone.       
Or just try turning your phone off and turning it on again (worth a try as sometimes the simplest answers are the ones that work).

Is the software up to date on your handset?

How is the internet connection when trying to activate the eSIM? 


Have you contacted Live Chat to see if they can supply you with a replacement eSIM? It may be that the one you were sent was faulty (just like some physical SIMs).

thanks tried all of the above still not resolved pity physically talking to some one not an available option with ID mobile 😩

is that going to take me another week without being able to receive or make phone calls and texts. Had a Text from ID mobile today to say issue was resolved. Afraid NOT all still sending texts messages and face time as my email addresss trying to change but just coming up with activation error try again. Have reset network but still NOT working extremely disappointing with this service

There are a few different options for a replacement SIM which means varied delivery times. 

 

Sent via DPD (1-2 working days, signature/delivery photo required)

Visit any Currys store  

eSIM sent via Email (Please ensure your device is eSIM compatible and you can currently receive SMS before requesting this)
