Phone Number Showing “No Service” – Request for Support

Hi iD Mobile,

I’m contacting you because my phone number is currently showing “No Service” and I’m unable to use it.

I set up this account and phone number just before I went to America, and I have only just returned to the UK. I’ve been paying for the service since May, but it now seems that the number may not have been working for the entire time I was away.

Could you please check the status of my account and SIM and let me know why the service hasn’t been working? I’d also appreciate it if you could look into the payments I’ve made since May, as I have been paying for a service that appears not to have been active.

Please let me know what you can do to get my number working again and whether a refund or credit for the period without service would be possible.

Thank you.

    Hi @aab2004,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve returned to the UK to find your phone showing No Service, especially as you’ve continued paying for the plan while you were away.

    Please try the following troubleshooting:

    • Restart your phone.
    • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 60 seconds, then switch it back off.
    • Remove and reinsert the SIM card.
    • Go into your Network Selection settings, switch Automatic off and allow the available networks to load. Try selecting iD Mobile/Three UK manually, then switch Automatic selection back on.
    • If possible, try your SIM in another unlocked phone. This will help determine whether the issue is with the SIM or the handset.
    • You can also try performing a network settings reset on your device.

If you’re still getting No Service after trying the above, please let us know and we can advise further.

Regarding the payments you’ve made since May and any possible refund or credit, the account and service history would need to be reviewed before this could be determined.

    Regards,
