Question

phone wont work unless connected to wifi

I have been struggling with my phone working unless it is connected to WiFi. My phone calls keep going to voicemail and I receive a text straight after to alert me. I cannot use YouTube or the internet without having connection issues. I generally have full bars of signal and I’m using a iPhone 17pro. Can anyone offer advice?
I have checked all my settings and believe everything is as it should be. I’ve even contacted Apple thinking it was an issue with the phone.

    Hi @Klump.

Thank you for sharing this post. I am sorry to hear you've been having these issues, especially after already going through the trouble of checking with Apple.

    A few things to try:

    - Check our coverage checker for your specific area: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage.

    You can also try to;

     - Restart your device to refresh your connection to the network
    - Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then turn it off again
    - Check that your mobile data is switched on (if you're experiencing data issues)

    Thanks,

    Marquerita

    Hi Marquerita,

I have already done all of this- several times too. The network coverage in my area is excellent. And I’m just not sure what else to do really.

    Hi @Klump,

I completely understand your frustration, especially if you've already completed all of the troubleshooting multiple times and the coverage checker is showing excellent coverage in your area.

At this stage, if the issue is still ongoing despite all the checks you've carried out, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service Team via Live Chat and asking for the matter to be escalated or disputed for further investigation.

    Please make them aware that:

    • The issue has been ongoing for some time.
    • You've already completed the troubleshooting steps multiple times.
    • The coverage checker shows excellent coverage in your area.
    • The problem remains unresolved.

You can contact them here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate how frustrating it must be when you've already tried everything that's been suggested.

    Regards,
