Hi

I am having long term very poor phone signal since joining ID. It’s now at its worst and at times people can’t phone me if I’m away from the house and away from the wifi calling.
any advice please?

    Hi @CTabs,

Sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing.

Is the issue only with calls or other services also?

The link below should help you with your query.

    Hi

unfortunately I’ve tried all the steps and it’s still the same and recently worse. My phone signal in my local area is nearly non existent with this network. I can’t use my phone.

    please advise

Hi @CTabs  I am sorry to hear of the trouble you have had with your coverage.

Can you please check your coverage here to see if there are any current outages in your area - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Some materials and structures can also affect signal strength.

Can you try switching to 4G only to see if that helps? Do you have Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE enabled?

    Hi

I’m always checking signal coverage as astounded how poor it is.
    I’ve always been 4G and it’s awful,

I can only use wifi calling in the house. No signal outside in the local area

    Thanks @CTabs

There is, at times, heavy usage in this local area. As a result, you may experience varying data speeds depending on how many customers are connecting to our network via your closest mast.

We’re always working to improve our network and aim to provide the best experience possible.

There is also little to no 5G coverage in your area, so your phone may be trying to connect to 5G. Can you check it is set to 4G please?
