Hi @Sarah Munro

I’m really sorry to hear that both of your connections are performing poorly I completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially when it’s affecting important features like Find My Phone and everyday internet use.

Issues like this can sometimes be caused by local network congestion, temporary mast faults, or indoor coverage limitations, even if coverage appears good on the checker.

There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try on both devices:

  1. Restart both phones to refresh the network connection
  2. Turn Airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then switch it off
  3. Ensure your software is up to date
  4. Check that mobile data is enabled and network selection is set to automatic
  5. Try each SIM in another phone (if possible) to rule out a handset issue
  6. Test the connection outdoors or near a window to compare indoor vs outdoor performance

If the issue continues after trying these steps, it would be best to contact our support team so we can investigate further for your specific accounts and location:

Again, I’m really sorry for the inconvenience caused, and we appreciate your patience while this gets looked into.

Hi @Poor Internet speed,

We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your coverage.

We appreciate how frustrating it can be when the service you're receiving doesn't match what you'd expect, particularly if the coverage checker is showing strong coverage in the areas where you're having problems.

As a first step, we'd recommend checking the coverage checker again to see if there are any reported issues or maintenance affecting the locations concerned: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/coverage-and-networks/network-coverage-checker

If the issue persists, please contact our Live Chat team so they can investigate further and check whether there are any network-related issues affecting your service: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

They'll be able to review your account and discuss any available options based on the outcome of their investigation.

Regards,
