Hi @DannyK656,

I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your coverage. Please try the steps below, depending on the type of phone you have:

For Android:

  • Open Settings
  • Tap General Management
  • Tap Reset
  • Select Reset network settings

For iPhone:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Phone
  • Tap My Number
  • Delete the old number
  • Enter the new/current number
  • Tap Save

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Messages
  3. Turn iMessage OFF
  4. Go to Settings > General
  5. Tap Reset
  6. Choose Reset Network Settings
  7. Once your iPhone restarts, go back to Settings
  8. Tap Messages
  9. Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should now recognise the SIM and verify your number.

Regards,

Hi @DannyK656

I’m sorry to hear about the ongoing signal issues you’ve been experiencing, especially after already trying to report this multiple times.

From what you’ve described, it does sound like there may have been recent network changes, congestion, or local environmental factors affecting indoor coverage in the DN14 area, particularly around industrial buildings where signal can already be impacted by building materials and interference.

As a troubleshooting step, we would recommend setting your handset to 4G only mode temporarily to see if this improves the stability and indoor coverage, as some devices can struggle when frequently switching between 4G and 5G signals.

You can usually do this by:

  • Going to Settings
  • Selecting Mobile Network or Connections
  • Choosing Preferred Network Type
  • Selecting 4G/LTE only

Please test the service after making the change, particularly in the affected industrial areas, to see whether this improves the connection.

It is a shame as I moved to Id mobile last year after a decade at o2 but they messed around with their local mast and it now has poor signal here. Looks like id have done the same so I will have to move networks again
