Problems with ported number - now 8 days with no sign of resolution

Hello,

I have recently ported to iD from 3. My port was supposed to happen last Wednesday (10th June) which it did but something has gone wrong with the port and I have been left a phone that only half works. I have been in touch with the online chat multiple times and have so far gone through 2 eSIMs and 1 physical SIM to try and solve the issue but nothing has worked.

I now appear to be running a dual sim off the same phone number - I have 2 lines - a primary and secondary. The secondary is being used for mobile data and the primary for voice calls. However nobody can phone as the line appears dead to them. I can text via iMessage using my email address but thats about it.

Online chat yesterday evening did say my issue was being forwarded to the technical team but I am a bit sceptical because as previously mentioned we are going round in circles trying new SIMs and constant network resets - none of which solves the issue.

I would really appreciate some help here as nobody can get in touch with me and I can’t access multiple websites which require a OTP as my phone can’t receive them

Regards

I thought I would provide a brief update. So here we are 13 days after porting from 3 to iD. I still can’t get iD to understand that they have screwed the port up and that my number appears dead to callers etc

Fortunately Mobiles co uk who I got the phone/contract from have agreed I can send the phone back to them and they will get the contract cancelled.

Trying to decide if I have the energy to write an official complaint to OFCOM about the experience.

Goodbye iD, we barely got to know each other.

Hi @TH4410

Thank you for providing an update.

I am sorry to hear that you have continued to experience issues with your number following the port to iD Mobile and that this has led to such a disappointing experience.

I can understand your frustration, particularly given that it has now been 13 days since the port was completed and you are still experiencing problems with callers being unable to reach your number.

I can confirm that we have replied to you via private message regarding this matter. Please check your private messages and respond at your convenience so that we can continue investigating and assisting you further.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are sorry that your experience has not met your expectations.

Thank you,
