I’ve contacted iD Mobile twice about a recurring issue with my calls not connecting, both at home and outside. When I make a call, it shows as ringing on my phone, but it connects for the other person — they can hear me, but I hear nothing.
I’ve been told to turn off FaceTime (no effect), that it was down to my WiFi (it happens on and off WiFi), and to remove and reinsert my SIM (this actually made the problem worse).
The problem has now escalated:
- People trying to call me are often unable to get through and are sent straight to voicemail, even when I am not on a call.
- This has included urgent calls from the police.
- At the weekend I was in a situation where I needed to call the police myself, and my phone simply wouldn’t connect.
This is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I’ve followed every instruction given, but the issue persists, and I keep getting pushed back to basic troubleshooting.
I need iD Mobile to take this seriously, acknowledge the fault, and provide a proper fix.
