For some reason almost everyday now I get 'no service: or 'emergency calls only'. Doesn't last long. Only happened since merger with Vodafone. What's happening Id?

    Hi @Stevie7 ,

I’m really sorry you’re experiencing this. I understand how frustrating it is to see “No Service” or “Emergency Calls Only”, especially if it happens frequently.

For iD Mobile, brief signal loss can sometimes happen due to network registration refresh, local congestion, or coverage transition between masts, rather than the merger itself.

    Please try these quick steps:

Restart your phone when the issue occurs
Turn Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds → OFF
    Set Network Selection → Automatic

Check that your phone software is up to date

    Hi @Stevie7.

It sounds like your SIM may need replacing. You can pick up a replacement SIM at your nearest Currys store at no extra cost, or contact us via Live Chat here:https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat
and we can arrange delivery to your home within two working days.

This usually resolves the “No Service” or “Emergency Calls Only” issue.
