sim card not working

I have been with ID for years and had the same phone for ages. Last week my SIM card stopped working, just said no sim. Then randomly started working again. Today it stopped again, I tried flight mode, then on and off, I went to another area….nothing. Tried customer service who told me to reset network, which I did but didn’t work and just chucked me out of the chat id spent 20 minutes getting into (grrrrrr).

finally another hard reset of my phone got it to work, for an hour then it disappeared again and nothing is making it start again. I’m guessing I need a new sim but the chat is infuriating and I can’t find a way to request it.

So I went to curry’s, got a new sim, got it activated and it worked from 2pm yesterday to 8am today and now I’m back to the same problem. Any ideas????

As asked by ​@andewhite, is the SIM working in another device, or does it not work in both?

 

This can help us understand if it’s more a SIM issue, or a phone issue.

Have you activated your replacement iD SIM card, ​@Jonnyboy10
