Hi @Steve2310 ,

I’m really sorry to hear your internet speeds have dropped, I completely understand how frustrating that can be, especially when things were working fine before.

There are a few common reasons this can happen, and we can run through some quick checks to help improve it:

• Restart your phone to refresh the network connection
• Toggle Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then off again
• Check if you’re in an area with good coverage (speeds can vary depending on location and congestion)
• Make sure you haven’t reached any data limit or temporary speed reduction on your plan
• Try switching between 4G/5G in your network settings to see if one is more stable
• If possible, test your SIM in another location or device to rule out a local issue

Also, if many people are using the network in your area at the same time, speeds can temporarily slow down due to congestion.

Done all of the above but still the Internet is much much slower than it usually is, at any time of the day

Hi @Ad12348.

To check the coverage and see if there are any local issues or limitations in your area, please use the following link: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage.

In addition, we’d recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Remove and reinsert your SIM card
Try your SIM in another phone or device

This will help determine whether the issue is with the handset or the SIM card itself.

If the problem continues after this, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help further.

Thanks,

Marquerita
