The data on my ID monile app is incorrect

I have been a member of ID for less than a week. I have a 60gb data allowance but apparently on the app I have used 15gb of data when I know this is incorrect. I have been connected to wifi most of the time. I haven’t done anything different on my phone in comparison to when I was with EE. I used to have unlimited data with EE and only use around 12GB a month or less. I have a data tracking app which says I have only used 39mg whereas the app says 15gb in 5 days. The live chat is useful and they have been so rude to me.

Hearing something you disagree with doesn’t constitute someone been rude. When you make a call send a text or use data your network logs a lot of information including dates times IMEI’s and ICCID’s. Even when connected to Wi-Fi some services and apps still use mobile data. What phone do you have? Most devices store their own logs that you can review.

If you’re unhappy, use the cooling-off period to switch back to EE.

Hi @LucyBond ,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I understand it’s frustrating to see data usage that doesn’t match what you expected. Mobile networks track all data used over the mobile network, even if some apps are running in the background or while connected to Wi-Fi, which can sometimes lead to discrepancies compared to third-party tracking apps.
