How do I get my ID sim to connect to Vodafone as it has better coverage in my area

Best answer by Geluk

Easiest solution is to join V/fone. ‘V/F’ masts over next 18mths will be modified for 3 use; it’s a gradual rollout process.

Hi @ed12

Thank you for reaching out.

iD Mobile uses the Three UK network, so it isn't possible to connect your SIM to the Vodafone network for normal service.

If you're experiencing coverage issues, we'd recommend trying the following first:

  • Set your handset to 4G/LTE only, as this can often provide a more stable connection where 5G coverage is limited or inconsistent.
  • Restart your handset after changing the network mode.
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 60 seconds, then switch it back off to refresh your connection.

If the issue continues after trying the above, please contact us via Live Chat or send us a direct message through one of our social media platforms so we can investigate your coverage further.
