Past week very poor phone coverage.  Keeps dropping off altogether.  Unable to make/receive calls.  Have gone outside but no better.  Having to constantly restart my phone, comes back with only 1 or 2 bars at most.

Have not made any changes to phone/Sim.

@Adele Cummiskey  and @Julie Burke   Julie have you every had a decent network service with IDMobile?

This is addressed to both of you  there are many factors why the network suddenly becomes very poor to no network at all.

Adele try you sim card in another phone other than a Samsung brand if possible in the location that's effecting you.

At present there's a lot of network activity going on across the UK so this may well be why you both having network issues.

Enter the full postal code for areas where service has been effected.

Julie in your case if you have another means to connect to the Internet to check the network status this is something you'll have to do.

Joe 🙂

Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch. We’re very sorry to hear about the poor coverage you’ve been experiencing. We completely understand how frustrating it is when calls keep dropping and signal remains low despite restarting your phone.

This could be due to temporary network congestion or maintenance in your area.

You can also check the coverage in your area using the following link:
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Additionally, you may want to try the following steps:
Reinsert your SIM or try it in another phone. This will help determine whether the issue is with the handset or the SIM card.

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings → General.
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm the reset when prompted.
Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.
Turn Select Automatically on or off.
Alternatively:
Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.

Thank you,

Zandile
