Let’s start a discussion regarding the merging of Vodafone and Three As I think it would be beneficial to keep people up-to-date on this

I assume ID Mobile will continue to operate after the merger has completed, Because as per the merger rules Set by Ofcom they were not allowed to change the prices that virtual mobile operated pay to Harness the network

There’s no guarantee ID mobile will choose to use the combined VodafoneThree network.

They may choose to switch to O2, or EE.

What’s not clear is what happens if they stick with Three.  VodafoneThree have details on their website of their offering for MVNOs such as ID, which requires them accepting new terms (if you search for the term “VodafoneThree Wholesale Reference Offer” it will bring up the VodafoneThree FAQs for MVNOs).  Should ID choose not to accept these terms, our signal may stay on Legacy Three’s towers only.

Network sharing between Vodafone and Three is set to take up to 6 months from now so there’s plenty of time to sort all this out.
