Weak connectivity and "temperamental" connectivity

I've noticed that my data seems so randomly cut out and give me no service for around 5 minutes, when I've had service in that same location before. Some of the time I get data from my SIM card, but most of the time I'm left offline due to me having full bars, then a second later none and being left like that for a moment. I was just wandering if this is a location issue or an issue with my SIM? Another person in my family is experiencing the same issue.

Kindly please confirm if you have tried doing a network rest, manually selecting the iD Mobile network and tried your SIM in a different handset?
