Very little; always check provider’s NETWORK COVERAGE page before moving!

Hi @R uphill

Thank you for getting in touch with us, and for signal issues at home.

You can also check the coverage in your area using the following link:
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Additionally, you may want to try the following steps:
Reinsert your SIM or try it in another phone. This will help determine whether the issue is with the handset or the SIM card.

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings → General.
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm the reset when prompted.
Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.
Turn Select Automatically on or off.
Alternatively:
Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.

Thank you,

The signal in Tutbury, Staffordshire is very weak. I signed up for two contacts e-sim and physical sim and neigher work well. I have tried all the workarounds on the website. Signal coverage said there was a good reception here. Very disappointed

Hi @Eckers.

Thank you for your post. I’m sorry that both your eSIM and physical SIM are not working as expected, especially given the coverage shown for your area.

To help improve your connection, please try the following basic troubleshooting steps:

Restart your device to refresh your connection to the network.

Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then turn it off again.

Check that your mobile data is switched on (if you’re experiencing data issues).

Remove your SIM card, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth, reinsert it, and restart your device.

Check that your device software is fully up to date.

Reset your network settings to refresh your device’s connection to the network.

Thanks,

Marquerita
